Share Goals, Plans & Ideas with Anyone
You can now share any goal, plan, idea, or project directly with other users or groups — with fine-grained control over what they can see or edit. Whether you're working with an accountability buddy, a coaching cohort, or just want a friend to follow along, sharing is now built into everything on GoalMindr. Look for the new share options on any goal or plan you own.

Transfer Ownership
Need to hand off a goal or project to someone else? You can now transfer ownership of any item to another user or group. The original owner keeps edit access through sharing, so nothing is lost — just reorganized. Find the new transfer button next to Edit on any item you own.

"Shared with Me" Filter
A new Shared with me filter tab now appears alongside your existing Mine, Groups, Following, and Public views. Quickly find everything others have shared with you in one place — no more hunting through feeds.

Target Counts for Steps
Steps now support a target count — perfect for goals like "Read 5 books" or "Complete 10 practice sessions." Set how many times you need to complete a step, and GoalMindr tracks your progress toward that target. Your action score updates automatically as you check in.

Flexible Step Endings
Recurring steps can now end after a set number of occurrences (e.g., "do this 12 times, then stop"), giving you more control over time-boxed habits and challenges without needing to pick a specific end date.

Planned Start & Due Dates — Done Right
Steps now have separate planned start and due date fields, because when you plan to start working on something and when it must be done are two different things. Set a planned start date and GoalMindr won't nag you about a step until you're ready to begin. Set a due date to know when it needs to be finished. Most task managers get this wrong by conflating the two — GoalMindr doesn't.

Accountability Buddies, Simplified
Accountability buddies now live inside the same sharing system as everything else. Instead of a separate flow to add a buddy, just share your goal with someone and grant them buddy access. Accept/decline requests, manage permissions, and see all your shared connections in one place — no more jumping between screens.

Chat-Style Comments
Comments now feel more like a real-time conversation. New messages appear at the bottom, older ones scroll up, and the whole experience is more immediate and engaging — like chatting with your accountability partner, not posting to a bulletin board.

Unified Profile Page
Your personal profile and professional/coach profile are now combined into a single page. Coach-specific sections (certifications, practice info, specialties) appear automatically when relevant, instead of hiding behind a separate tab.

Coach and professional profile URLs now use your practice name for better discoverability in search engines — helping potential clients find you more easily.

Smarter AI Planning & Coaching

Check-In Lock Indicators
Locked and cached check-ins now display a lock icon, so you always know which check-ins are finalized. Admins can force a complete refresh when needed.
